Matthew (Matt) Hudack is President of Financial Synergistics Group, Inc., overseeing all aspects of the firm’s operations, client relations, and strategic development. For over 35+ years, Matt has provided his expertise in personalized financial planning, business planning, employee benefit plans, estate planning, and retirement planning. He has provided these services for multi-generational families, small business owners, and in partnership with attorneys’ and CPAs’ clientele. Mentoring and coaching people in their financial lives is rewarding and gratifying to Matt, with an emphasis on providing perspective and guidance towards their pathway to a more secure financial future.

Prior to joining Financial Synergistics Group in 2018, Matt served as Regional Vice President of Manulife/John Hancock, where his focus on estate planning issues and small business owners gained him status among the top ten in production. Awarded Manulife’s coveted “Star of Excellence Award” for 1994, 1998, 1999, and 2001, Matt was recognized as a Presidents Club member for 14 years, and his guest interview on Randy Zipse’s radio show, “3 and out,” is one of the most listened to recordings with John Hancock.

Licensed for life insurance since 1986, Matt is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from the American College of Financial Services. Matt graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 with a B.S. in Corporate Finance with an emphasis on Portfolio Analysis. He has served as a California State Trustee for NAIFA. Additionally, he oversees maintaining the firm’s status as a Registered Investment Advisory firm.
Recently celebrating 30 years of marriage to his wife, Kristen, Matt is also the proud father of their son, Riley, a 2017 SMU graduate, and Kate, a 2020 graduate of TCU. When not volunteering and striving to make a difference in the industry and his community, Matt enjoys spending time at their family’s winery or relaxing on Whidbey Island. Whether setting crab traps in Washington, golfing on a warm day, or hunting with his son in Texas, Matt understands balance is key aspect in life and how financial success can help make an important impact in our clients personal lives as well.
